Any Benefit to Updating 4.6.1 to 4.7.5?

I used Basecamp 4.6.2 extensively to input gpx's from other capture software (Gaia etc) and modify them and export the gpx. I have not updated since Garmin stopped support. It appears now there are a slew of updates.

Has Garmin decided to support Basecamp again?

Is there any benefit to updates to 4.7.5? Im suspicious there would be any benefits.

No, there is no development but some updates still take place for various reasons, if BaseCamp is working for you you'll gain nothing by updating.
