Why does Nuvi 55 Work well with basecamp but Drive 52 has problems. I am creating waypoint trips by zipcodes. When transferring them to my Nuvi 55, if the trip is longer than 29 points it will create another trip with a number 2 next it and then a number 3
Not sure what point you're asking? Routes on most recent models are limited to 29 viapoints between start and finish but most folks shouldn't need anything like that. You don't say how you're creating your routes but that is likely the issue.
I create my trips by zipcodes. i can have anywhere from 30 to 80 addresses. When i transfer it to my Nuvi 55 it would flash a sign that it is long. it will then show i the trip planner file that zipcode with a 1 then a 2 and even a 3 but it is in order. if i do the same with a Drive 52 it still give me the flash about being long, however it will show the zipcode with a 1 and a 2 and a 3 but not in order. it may be 2,3,1. I do not know how to resolve this?
You've lost me I'm afraid. If you create a route in BaseCamp, no matter how you create the viapoints, when you send that route to your device the order of viapoints is maintained.
I will have to show you a screen shot if you still don't understand. Your answer on the order of Viapoints is incorrect. I Will try to post a pic of what i am speaking about
No, I don't. Those screenshots show trips in Trip Planner, not viapoints within a route. You're correct that the Drive series orders trips differently to the way the Nuvi series does, there is nothing you can do about that.
