Is there a way to copy to clipboard the coordinates of a trackpoint from the track trackpoints list? I tried right-clicking on the trackpoint etc. and didn't find an option to do this.

p.s. I wanted to get the coordinates so that I could paste them into Google Maps and look at Street View to see what was there. I ended up typing the desired coordinate to a little popup editor and then pasting them from there into Google Maps. Sort of a pain in the neck to do it this way.
You can also export BaseCamp data as a .kml file and open that in Google Earth. The data can be a single item or multiple/mixed data. When I'm planning my hiking routes I regularly export all my planned routes and waypoints in one .kml file and import it into Google Earth.
Yes. Select 2 points, the first being the point you actually want, right click and copy. Paste into Notepad (assuming Windows). Select the component (in this case Co Ordinates) you need. Basecamp copies the number of points selected minus one to the Clipboard so if you select one you'll get zero.
Google Earth provides street view.
My program now lets you copy the track points from BaseCamp’s track window. (I just released a new version.)
You can also copy waypoints and tracks from the item list (the panel) Google Earth.
(It’s more convenient than exporting KML files or using notepad.)

Copying trackpoints from BaseCamp puts text like the following in the clipboard.
