Hi Guys,
After updating to 4.7.5 some maps got dislocated including Garmin's Global Map. See images bellow.
Does any one know how to fix it?
Tks,
Only the left is correct. The middle one is Garmin's Global and the left is Openfiets.

Sorry but unsure what this means. First the maps show vertically and not horizontally. Second what do you mean by dislocated?
BaseCamp's Global Map isn't very accurate.
Your overlay map (green square tiles) agree with the juncture of the two rivers (lower right). The coordinates at that location are reasonable compared to Google Earth. In comparison to Google Earth, BR 319 is misplaced on BaseCamp's Global map (off by ~ 17 mi / 27 km east of correct location).
There really isn't anything you can do to correct it. I also doubt that Garmin will make any corrections to BaseCamp's Global Map.
Your overlay map appears to be placed correctly, BR-319 is misplaced on the Global Map.
All tree pictures are from the same list but I've only changed the map on each to demonstrated that some places the road BR-319 on the right place some doesn't .
tks.
I'm not sure to be about Basecamp but the maps ...
Funny thought is that some OSM show right and other OSM show wrong.
Then you need to speak to the map makers as it's not a BaseCamp issue.
Garmin does not create its maps from scratch. They obtain the information required to create their maps from multiple sources worldwide. Seeing BR-319 located in the same wrong location in multiple maps is just an indication that the location came from the same source.
BaseCamp is no longer supported so it is unlikely that the Global map will change. On the other hand, the City Navigator South America NT map probably has BR-319 in the correct location, and Garmin would make changes in newer map versions if they were informed that there is a map error.
If you are looking at free maps, try to find ones that have Routable roads These maps would require that roads are place with higher accuracy..
Hi,
I always use routable ones.
What I find strange is that some OSM based maps have the BR-319 correctly places and others not. All OSM based..
Not to mention Garmin's Global Map.
Tks for your help
Global Map is Garrmin's native map for Basecamp.
Tks,
I know but the BaseCamp global map as has already been stated isn't at all accurate and isn't designed to be.
