Can't transfer GPX file from Basecamp to my Garmin GPS (GPSMAP 67i).

I just uploaded/imported a GPX-file to Garmin Basecamp, but when I try to transfer it to my Garmin device (GPSMAP 67i), it does not show up anywhere (should be under 'Saved tracks'). In Basecamp, I click on the track and then try to transfer it via Device > Send to device > and then choose my device. I click on the device, but when i check on the GPS it's not there in the list of saved tracks.

I've never had this problem before. Does anyone know how to resolve this? I would need to depart for a trip in a couple of days, and would need the track to be functional on my GPS by then...

You may have to disconnect from the computer (and possibly turn the device off and on) before the upload appears on the device. I'm assuming there were no error messages and that you also checked the Archive folder (it really shouldn't be there).

The gpx file can be sent directly to the device Garmin/GPX folder via the Windows Browser. The owners manual probably has instructions for this procedure.

Since the device appeared in BaseCamp, there probably isn't an issue with the usb cable or computer port. But if you can't send the file to the device via the browser, you should try a different cable and/or usb port.

Also check to make sure the device firmware is up to date.

If you already have a gpx file you can simply place it in the GPX folder on your device, and bypass BaseCamp. Are you sure it's a track? If it's a route it'll be in saved routes and not tracks.
