Error when trying to display TOPO France V5 Pro map in Basecamp

I recently changed from a ETrex Touch 35 to a GPSMAP 65s and moved my TOPO France V5 Pro map on micro SD (bought from Garmin) to the GPSMAP 65s.

The TOPO France map displays without problems on the GPSMAP 65s, but will not display in BaseCamp giving the error "An error occurred when attempting to use theTOPO France V5 Pro sud ouest map product".

I'm using BaseCamp with Windows 10.

I have several maps bought from Garmin pre-installed on micro SD - how can I make this work?

I assume it shows under the 65s in the left hand pane in BaseCamp? Have you allowed BaseCamp time to index the map, which it requires to do on first use.

If everything is correct try using JaVaWa's device Manager to check all is well with the map www.javawa.nl/jdm_en.html

Yes, the map shows under the 65s in the left hand pane in BaseCamp and yes, I allowed BaseCamp time to index the map.

After some googling, I deleted all of the cache files under AppData/Users/.../Local/Garmin/Basecamp in windows and things now work as expected.
