I have the GPSMAP66sr. When I create a route for a hiking trail on basecamp, on the device I get an alert at each spot that I clicked when making the route. In basecamp, I right click on the route and select open. Then I go to each point and select "Don't alert on arrival". But I still get alerts for each point. How can I stop that? Also, every point creates a magnifying glass symbol on the device. I'm not sure what those are, but there are of course a lot of them and they make it impossible to see the map. How do I get rid of those?
