Why does Garmin not understand the difference between a church and a synagogue

I am recent to the Atlanta GA area and tried to use my nuviCam GPS to find a local "synagogue".  For those of you who don't know.  A synagogue is not a church.  In fact, the names do not look even similar.  But it seem the folks at Garmin don't know that.  When you search for "synagogue" in the Atlanta area, you get hundreds of "Churches" but only one synagogue.  Really really stupid.
