I used to check the elevation profile for the itineraries I prepare in Basecamp, but since a few weeks they are no longer available. Basecamp says 'Current map contains no elevation data on selected itineraries' (the exact message in English might be slightly different, I translated from French).
I have this problem with TOPO France V6 PRO, TOPO España V7 Pro, TOPO Benelux v7 Light. These are the latest versions of these maps as far as I know. Problem showed up a few weeks ago, it has worked fine before that.
On my Montana 600, the elevation profile is also unusable since a week or so, it shows nonsensical profiles. It seems the problem started since the latest software update.
I understand the elevation data is not available with the default maps supplied with my Montana 600, no issue here. One of the reasons I bought the maps I mention above is to be able to check the elevation profile when hiking
