Track creation procedure with custom POIs

Hi all,
I'm looking for an efficient procedure with BaseCamp 4.7.5 (or other software) to create tracks with custom POIs (water points, camping, toilets...).
I would then like to export these tracks to my Epix 2 watch and "see" the custom POIs on the map and also on a data screen with navigation fields like "Next Waypoint", "Distance to Next".

You can add POIs to routes in BaseCamp, just note that when you send them to your device you will almost certainly not see the icon that is used by BaseCamp. Note if you want distance to next etc you will need to use routes rather than a track.

Thank you. I thought it would work with a track. If I send a route to my Epix 2,is there any way to prevent a recalculation of the route no matter what map I use?
In summary, I would like the rigor of a track and the interactivity of a route. :-)

Don't know as I don't have an Epix 2. All my routes I create using the direct activity profile, so it doesn't recalculate.
