Pan Issues?

Today I created a New Route. But when I selected the Pan tool to move around the map, every so often when I Pan the mouse, somehow it changes from Pan to Input point. It buggers my route and I have to undo and use the direction arrows.

Now I don't create routes that often but can't remember this happening or at least as often as it is today. I surmise I have a Mouse issue (wearing out etc). Has anyone else had this happen?

Nope, never had that issue. Can't think what could be causing it.

Yea it's annoying, I use the directional arrows mostly any how but if I'm not careful even the first time I put my mouse Pan Hand down inside the Map area (so I can have the focus on the route area) it sometimes will even do it on the first time.
I remember awhile back watching a EZ Moto Tim Youtube video on ways to move around in the map and seems like he said sometimes after adding shaping pts you have to recalculate the route to get the Insert Pt to let go for Panning. But I tried that and it did not cure the issue.
It might be time for a new mouse.
