Basecamp and deleted files on your watches

As the thread about deletion of files (as requested by Garmin support) is closed, may I suggest to make these 3 files avaliable on a private Web server?.

-gmapbmap.img

- gmaptz.sum

- gmaptz.img

Would it be helpful?

You could try to copy them on your Garmin watch.

Basecamp will no longer be updated for our wearables watches. It will reach a point that it will not load the maps from your watch.

Basecamp will no longer be updated for our wearables watches. It will reach a point that it will not load the maps from your watch.

The following products are to be used in place of Basecamp. They all continue to be updated and support our watches:

- The Explore APP and Explore website (Create waypoints and courses.)

- The Connect Mobile APP and Connect website to create courses.

Thanks for your clear informations.

I tried to upload my hundreds of tracks (89MB) to Explore web. That ended without success.

1. You have to split the upload into small files.

2. Basecamp's folder structure is ignored.

3. The Basecamp track names get lost after import to Explore.

Sorry. So I stopped any further work with Explore unless Garmin realizes an easy way to upload existing tracks from Basecamp
