Not sure what you're trying to achieve. You can put data where you want it, either in My collection in BaseCamp or on the attached thumb drive. If you don't want to use the thumb drive then don't. Or have I misunderstood your question?
I can see no way to choose another drive.
Can you tell me how to achieve this?

You can only choose a drive if connected, and it must be a removable drive. What drive are you hoping to see?
I have 4 drives
1 internal and 3 externals.
BC is showing only one drive available.
Ok, so what are the external drives? One presumably is the I drive that is showing. What are the other 2? BaseCamp will only see drives that are removeable.
I'm just guessing that WV-Mike might be wanting to choose the internal. My internal is a fixed SSD, and my BC database resides on the fixed shown below. It's been too many years since I installed BC, so I don't recall how it got to a fixed drive, contrary to "...must be removeable...".
I don't know how to change it from a removable to a fixed. I agree that BC window only pulls up removables. I'm guessing the installer automatically defaulted to the fixed drive. Sorry, but no cigars on how to change removeable to fixed...maybe do an install on the fixed?

If he is simply wanting to change the location of the database that is achievable in BaseCamp options, but his question seems to indicate he wants to use a drive that isn't showing in BaseCamp.
I see no place in the BC Options to change the drive designation. Can you point me to that?
Yes, I want to use a drive that isn't showing in BaseCamp.
Thanks,
WV-Mike
If it's not showing there is a reason, which is that it isn't a removeable drive, please confirm that is true?
You can however have a BaseCamp data base on a non removeable drive, if it's simply a database you want elsewhere? New database locations can be created/set in Edit, Options, General
