POI Point notifications- Is it possible?

Hi guys,

Is possible create POI Point on the course and receive notification about those points during ride?

Something like POI Point on GC. When we put point on the course during ride on the screw is information about it.

I mean on Garmin 1040 Edge device :)

No.

The later Edges don't support POI notifications.

The only way of doing something similar is with "course points".

These are points on the track that get announced. BaseCamp doesn't support "course points". Garmin Connect and RideWithGPS (and others) do.
