Adding geotags to photos based on a track

I often use the function to add geotags to photos based on a track. Recently the function does not select photo's if the time of the photo is not exactly* the same of that of a point in the track.

* is the same by the second.

Please advise.

Solution found! For some unknown reason the camera-setting of USB-connection method was changed from mass storage to MTP. Changing it back to mass-storage solved the problem: transferring the older photos again made it possible to add geotags based on the regarding tracks. Although exif data of the photos are exactly the same for a photo transferred by the two method, transferring it with the "USB-MTP" method does prevent adding geotags to a photo (Basecamp does not find the photo for adding geotags).
