Garmin Connect

I plan to go on a (slightly) longer bike ride in the near future. The starting point should be Bremen, the destination is Lagos in Portugal, I intend to ride along the coast as much as possible (North Sea, Atlantic) and cleverly the EuroVelo 4 is a good distance (approx. from Brugge to the north-west summit of France). my way. You could try this:

Visit the official website https://en.francevelotourisme.com/cycle-route/la-velomaritime-eurovelo-4 and download the gpx track file for EuroVelo4.The track can be viewed BaseCamp (or in the app GPXSee) and has 54 segments. You will then need to add timestamps to the track points to enable the file to be imported into Garmin Connect, see: https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=j3epr66mmJ0V26Yq0SO6IA

GPS Visualizer lets you add fake timestamps. www.gpsvisualizer.com/convert_input. Click the "show advanced options" at the bottom, then "Add artificial timestamps (e.g., for OSM or Garmin Connect)". Convert and download amended file.

This will produce a single GPX containing all 54 segments with timestamps added as required for importation into Garmin Connect. You can view these beforehand and join sections together in BaseCamp and export new GPX files for upload into Connect if you wish.

If you want it as a single track, import the original GPX file into nakarte.me https://nakarte.me/#m=7/49.70672/-1.24146&l=O/Ft and save. Note this gives a track file with 18690 track points and you may need to split it into smaller sections depending on the number of track points that your device can handle.
