In connecting my Navigator V to the PC, Basecamp tries to load Gmapprom but seems to fail. It shows a red line that moves left to right , it gets half way then disappears showing only 2 grey folders ( under devices) , One that reads BMW Motorrad Navigator V and within that another folder Internal Storage and that`s all. The map folder ( usually in colour) and the User folder to which my maps are loaded into are not there. I get a message later stating there was a problem communicating with the memory card and lists below several GPX files, i also get the message stating there was a problem communicating with the BMW Motorrad Navigator V and also lists below several GPX files. I would add that i have plugged this Nav V into my Laptop that also has Basecamp on it and it communicates and works perfectly. I have uninstalled Basecamp , also out of the registry on the PC and done a clean install , changed leads , tried different USB ports but nothing seems to work . Since the NAV V works perfectly on the Laptop i am assuming its a PC issue ... ?
