BASECAMP: entering coordinates get 'no results found'

Hello!

I am taking a trip to Italy and am working to enter waypoints for some remote mountain locations. However, basecamp says "no results" when I search for the coordinates. I am using Europe 2022.1.5 maps.

I have entered a location using two different formats and still get 'no results found'. Below are the coordinate formats I have used:

44.085818, 10.155923

44°05'08.9"N 10°09'21.3"E

Any suggestions? Thank you for any wisdoms you can share!

Are you entering the cardinal parts? Also note it's only 5 decimal points, you need to drop the 6th one in your example.

How are you entering them? I use Ctrl + t to bring up the data fields

What format have you selected in BaseCamp? That needs to match the format you're using. Your first one is decimal degrees so select that one in BaseCamp.

Using that I get a location North of Pisa

I have that format selected. I've exited BC and restarted it. Entered the first coordinates. Still just spins and spins searching with no results.
