Wow. Where to start. First of all, ctrl+v doesn't paste. That is annoying.
Then, when I type in an address, it doesn't just add the address. It wants to tell me about every gas station and ice cream stand on the way. I just want to go from point a to point b to point c...in this case to point m. Is there not a way to JUST type in my list of addresses and have it JUST give me directions to those addresses without all the other stuff I didn't ask for? Is there a setup parameter I didn't find that is something like "Simple Route" or "Turn verbose mode off" or something like that? I really don't want to have to sit outside where I have GPS satellites and type in 14 stops by pecking on the screen like some deranged chicken. Is this just how this thing works or am I just so new to it I don't know what I'm doing?
And to add insult to injury, I JUST updated Garmin Express AND the US map, so the computer is indeed finding the Garmin, yet when I launch base camp it says the GPS isn't connected to the computer.
Oh well, at least it didn't cost me anything. Anybody have any suggestions? None of the suggested threads addressed what I am seeing. Thanks.
