All my routes (both old and new) are offset from the road. This started happening summer of 2021,

This happens to me when the map shifts from "North Up', usually unintentionally.  When you hover the blue triangle in the Top Left corner, it will show N (and W,E,S).  Click the N to lock North Up and the magenta line should realign.

Unfortunately. it doesn't actually 'Lock' it to north up.  Better wording might have been that it returns it to north up.  I do wish there was a way to lock it though.  

Could you elaborate on this?  I haven't seen the setting that will lock the screen to North Up.  That would be a great find.

Not in front of my PC right now so will later today or tomorrow but it's somewhere in the BaseCamp options where you can set the compass to be On or Auto or Off.

I found that setting (View>Map Controls>Off), but it HIDES the compass features, and does not LOCK the map to North up.  It can still be rotated using the hand on accident while trying to access the Right Click Menu, which I use extensively.

If you are referencing a different setting, I'd love to know about it.  It is a bit annoying that I have to keep resetting it to north up.

I think you are probably correct. Setting it to North Up does lock it, but unfortunately for you, Right Click and dragging unlocks it, so I can only sympathise!  You can also use the shortcut Ctrl + N to align North Up again instead of visiting the compass to do it. 

Apologies. You're right that it can still be dragged, but as that's never happened to me I assumed it was locked. I can move it I've just discovered, but have never done so inadvertently even though I too use the right click menu frequently.
