How to use routes on Nuvi or Drive Assist models

I have created a GPX file containing a rte structure, imported it into Basecamp on W10 and the exported it into my Nuvi2597LMT.

Using Trip Planner I can see 80 route points but I don't know how to get the Nuvi to load the route and then navigate it.

Could someone please advise how this is done?

I also have access to a Drive Assist 65 if the instructions are different.

Thanks

Tony

  • This is the BaseCamp forum and there are no device forums here for On the road devices. However 2 points to note. First, trips imported from BaseCamp will show in Trip Planner on your device. To navigate them tap on the Trip, select Go and then select the point you wish to go to first then tap OK.  Second, the maximum number of points in a route is 30, excluding shaping points. If you really have 80 points then you need to reduce them. For further device issues try asking here http://www.poi-factory.com/
