I am going to be going on a major road-trip in April. I have 121 destinations that I have identified with Gps coordinates that I plan to visit. I entered these coordinates into an Excel spreadsheet, saved the file as a CSV file, and then used GPS Visualizer to convert the Waypoints to a GPX file. Looking at the GPX file in an editor, everything looks great. I preceeded the name of the Waypoint with a 3-digit # that represents the order that I'll be visiting each of the destinations. I created a list in Basecamp and then dropped the GPX file into that list. Again, everything looks great. The Waypoints are sorted in order numerically based on my schedule.
My problem is that when I create a route of the Waypoints and start the Playback feature, the cursor will pass right by one of the destinations and then have an "oh ***" moment, do a uturn, and go back to the destination that it missed, and then resume the route. Sometimes the cursor may bypass multiple destinations, do a uturn and go back and hit each of the destinations that it missed. The destinations are all on the same highway, some of the missed destinations are right on the highway, some may be a little ways off the highway. If the playback feature misses a destination, it will always miss that destination, and then return to it. If I create a route out of just a small selection of waypoints to see if the cursor behaves differently, it doesn't. I haven't watched the entire playback, but the number of waypoints that the cursor, skips, and then returns to seems very significant. Just FYI, when the cursor does do a uturn, it is between waypoints, so it is definitely not a mistake in how I assigned GPS coordinates to the Waypoints.
I am totally stumped on this issue. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
