Download speed in BaseCamp

Hi,


I just bough a Garmin Zumo XT.
I connected it to BaseCamp on my Windows 10 PC. I used this app for the first time.

I am downloading the BirdsEye images around my place to upload them in my Zumo but the download is very slow.
I am connected with optical fiber and my usual download speed is around 350Mb/s. BaseCamp download speed is less than 1Mb/s.

Is there a solution to improve BaseCamp download speed ?

    No way to speed it up, that I've ever found. I'm also running on gigabit internet here, downloading a 230mb file (seems to be the max size allowed per file) takes about an hour. Been that way ever since I started using birdseye last year, and I've never figured out a reason for it, other than probably the birdseye server is severely throttling it for some reason.

    I'm trying to download BirdsEye imagery for my new GPSMAP 67i and apart of the "painfully tedious and slow" process of selecting 300mb chunks of imagery (why can't we just select a large area and the app splits automatically into chunk size it wants / chooses???), the download speed is EXTREMELY slow for they day and age we live in. Basecamp downloads imagery with the whopping speeds of ~100kb/s.
