BaseCamp save empty files if tcx format selected

I have a track with way points and i want to convert it into course points for sending to Garmin device.

If i use gpx format for sending to the Garmin device course points do not are showed.

The version of BaseCamp is 4.7.1

Course points only can exist for FIT or TCX (they are optional). They aren't part of the GPX standard.

BaseCamp can't create course points anyway.

Course points are like waypoints but (unlike waypoints) they are associated with a track.

That is the reason because i want to use tcx format.

However, if i import tcx files with course points in Garmin Connect web they are not showed. I think it is a bug in that application.

BaseCamp doesn't know anything about course points. (Garmin isn't going to update BaseCamp to handle them.)

Where are you getting the tcx files you are importing into Connect?

I create a track with way points in BaseCamp, export in gpx and convert to tcx with course points in alltrails.com

Ahh. Seems like a lot of work. Why not create the course in Connect?

If i want only edit course points use Garmin Connect. But for editing points of track, copy and paste segments from other tracks is more easy and fast to do it in BaseCamp.
