Basecamp Initialization Cannot load the following areas: List Data File

This error appears each time I start Basecamp. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, along with deleting all Garmin files on my computer but it keeps happening! PLease can someone tell me how I can fix this? I have already lost a lot of precious data.....

I am using Basecamp 4.7.4 (the latest version) on a Windows 10 machine.

Sounds like it's pointing at an empty or corrupted database file. Check what folder it's set to open by default. Also search for Alldata.gdb files. If you find numerous ones try selecting the folders they are in as your database location and get a working one.

HI again, I still cannot seem to fix the issue. I designated a new Alldata.GDB location and started a new file, but still get the error along with loss of all my data!

Is there a way I can delete all traces of Basecamp and just start again?

OK I have narrowed it down - the problem only arises when I download data off my brand new GPSMAP 66SR....... Only that data is throwing the errors both on shut down and startup and is disappearing now.

It is happening with my 66i as well. This is a Garmin issue. mine just started after last firmware update a week ago. All my data is there, but any sync from about May 11th on, cause an error next time I start basecamp.
