Basecamp - Memory card does not display files

I am new to Basecamp and watched a couple of the tutorial videos. I plugged in an SD card expecting to see gpx files that are on it, but none are displayed. The memory card shows up under devices and the card has numerous gpx files on it that work with other software. What am I missing?

What folder structure does your SD card have? GPX files must be located in a subfolder named \Garmin\GPX to be read by BaseCamp, so you may need to create this folder on the card and move the files into it.

If BC exports a GPX file from your collection, this is also the folder it will write it to.
