I just updated my maps on my 64ST and PC using Garmin Express. Is there any reason to keep the old PC versions?

I'm thinking of deleting prior downloaded maps on my PC after using Garmin Express to update the map for use in BaseCamp. Since old maps are not automatically deleted do they serve some kind of purpose I am not aware of?

Their purpose is to make an update faster if you have multiple units to update or need to reinstall your map, but most folks can simply delete them. If needed again they can always be redownloaded. I always…
