Nuvi 2699: Garmin won't show downloaded trip from Basecamp in "Trip Planner" problem

I installed a new micro chip in the GPS and tried to download/save a route from Basecamp to the GPS.
Basecamp appears to download the trip and does not produce any errors.

So I installed the old micro chip and the Garmin Nuvi can't see any of the old saved trips either (if I look at the files on this chip through Windows I can see that there are many route gpx files on it.)

Is there any fix or reset to correct this problem?

Not sure why you are sending them to the card, just install them into the internal memory.

Internal memory is nearly full. In fact, the Garmin Express recommended installing the most recent map to the card - which I did not! - instead I installed it to the internal memory.
As an attempted fix, I am reinstalling the most recent map update the the card as recommended by Garmin Express.

Routes etc take up very little space, you're better off doing what you are now trying.

I got it sorted - and I'm not sure where it went wrong. I removed Basecamp and reinstalled 4.6.2 and no difference.
Then restarted the computer from Shut Down. Got it working again.
