Hi all. I have imported a gpx file created on a bit of software called Mapyx to Garmin Basecamp. It is a route, and was imported as a GPX schema version 1.0 file
When I import the file to my Montana, and go to view the route, the route - rather than being linear - goes back and forward between each waypoint on the route, before moving on to the next waypoint. Only when I change the routing profile on the GPS unit does the route show up as the correct linear route that I imported.
Can anyone explain why this is happening and how to avoid in the future.?
