Missing information after restore

I moved to a new laptop, and after restoring my data, although the main lodges and campsites have restored, most of the waypoints in between and route information is missing. I am running a Windows 10 machine. Please help, or must I redo all my waypoints and associated information? This would be disastrous as the missing data applies to a new 4,500km trip which I have been planning for more than 6 months. Please help.

Unfortunately not, my previous laptop has been wiped clean. I fear a complete rebuild of my trip is on the horizon.

If your current backup is incomplete then I'm afraid so. Did you start with a clean install of Windows on your new laptop or was your old one cloned across? If clean then you're out of luck. If a clone try a search for AllData.gdb or AllData.gdb.bak

You'd be looking for a file older than your current AllData.gdb which is the file that contains BaseCamp data.
