I've used Basecamp to create an optimized route for a 700-mile driving trip with an intermediate stop, using Drivesmart 65. I wanted a return route that didn't include the stop (I'll drive straight through) but that did include the optimizations. I won't be starting home from the same city that I started the trip in, so my return route isn't starting where I'll be when I want to pick it up. I can't delete the starting point without recalculating and losing my optimizations, so what I wanted to know is whether I can start that route when I'm in an intermediate city and pick it up there. Or will my auto GPS expect me to drive back to the point where the route starts?
