Basecamp Doesn't See Maps on my Oregon 450 or Win 10 Laptop

I had no problems loading maps to my Oregon 450 on a previous Windows7 Pro laptop. The maps last loaded on my 450 SD Card are from 2018, City Navigator North America v8.img and Topo U.S. 24K Southeast.img. BC on my new Windows 10 laptop see my 450. I can manipulate all the data, tracks, points and such but BC only sees the global map and worldwide DEM base map.

I've tried plugging the SD card directly into the laptop to no avail. I tried having the Topo CD in the drive to no avail. Using BC map install I get "no unlocked maps were found on the device". I have gone through the forum multiple times trying all of the suggestions that were remotely similar.

When you say BC only sees the global and DEM map where are you seeing that? Is BC seeing any data on the card? Does the card show under the device in the top left hand pane when the Oregon is connected?

W/o the 450 plugged in, BC only shows the Global under "Maps". The 450 will shows up in the left pane under Devices once it is plugged in. Nested under the Oregon is a Folder named "Internal Storage" (where all my user data is stored) then a Map Icon named "Worldwide Autoroute DEM Basemap". Below that is a card Icon named "SD-CARD (F:). Nested under the SD-Card is a folder named "User Data". The User Data folder is where the Topo and Streets maps reside ( when I view the card using File Explorer). But, clicking on the User Data Folder, BC shows, "This List is Empty". So your answer is, NO BS is not seeing data on the card.

If the maps aren't showing what makes you think they are on the card?

Because they show on the Oregon 450 and are selectable in setup. If I take the card out of the 450 all I have is the DEM.

In that case try running JaVaWa device manager, select the maps and ensure they are marked Show in BaseCamp. If not set them to show.

Ok. Using JaVaWa I got the maps showing. First try it said card was locked. Micro SDs don’t have a lock tab. Second try I could select both maps to show in BC.
Maps now show with card in the 450 and in an adapter.
So how do I now get BC to recognize my map CDs so I can change the maps on the Oregon? I know my Map Source data is old but fine for cycling. Topos don’t change much. BC tells me no unlocked maps on my laptop even after trying setup on the first Topo CD.

Sorry I have no experience on topo CDs. You may want to call Product Support as it may not even be possible.
