NTU 2022.10 maps are Locked on PC but not on either of my SatNavs

I have installed City Navigator NTU 20221.10. It is unlocked on my BMW Navigator VI and on my Nuvi 3790.

However on the PC it is locked.

I am using the latest version of Garmin Express: 7.7.0.0 which says there was an error with the Install but unhelpfully does not say what the error was.

This is the first time I have had this problem. My 2020 and 2021 maps are unlocked on the PC.

Please can you tell me how do I get it unlocked so that I can use it in BaseCamp?

Try unlocking it in BaseCamp with your device connected.

Hi Sussamb,

I have been trying to do that in BaseCamp, but clicking the Unlock button does not do anything except bring up two other Tabs but with no indication how to use them.

I will keep looking. :-)

Do you run your PC as a "User" or "Administrator" ?

I have to run as admin to use the maps in Basecamp without a GPS connected.

Hi Paul,

I run as a User and for the last 10 years it has worked perfectly. As a single user, I am probably the Administrator as well, but I do not have to do anything other than open the program. All my previous maps on the PC are unlocked, it is just this latest update that has gone peculiar.
