how to change window size in basecamp

the window size to the left of the map shows a one line window at the top ad the window below fills the rest of the screen. I would like to resize the top left window to show more lines. HOW?

    Just hover over the bottom border of the top window with your mouse and when the cursor changes to an up/down arrow, right click and hold whilst dragging the border down the screen to resize the window. Both left hand windows can be resized in this way: taller/wider or shorter /narrower.

    thank you Eyelet99, just before you replied I was able to activate the pull down but it is very temperamental.  but done now thanks for your reply
