Transferring "new" data from BaseCamp to RV760

I have several trips and their associated points already in the RV760.

I have a "new" trip in BC that contains many, but not all of the same points.

To get the "new" info to the device, do I transfer just the "route" (trip) or do I need to transfer ALL the waypoints? Or just the "new" waypoints"?

If I have created a new "list" in BC for the new trip, can I just copy that list to the device? Will it create duplicate points on the device?

Is it better to just delete the existing route AND its associated points on the device first, then do a "reload" from BC?

As you can tell, I don't understand the transfer process well.

Sending the 'new' route will send the viapoints in contains. You also say is it best to delete the existing route, so do you mean you've updated a route and are wanting to send that? In which case yes, I would delete the original one and then send the 'new' one.
