Basecamp v4.7.4...has anyone installed and tested?

I just received upgrade notification of Basecamp v4.74.

Change History:

Fixed zumo connection issue
Various stability and bug fixes

Has anyone installed and tested it?

Hi, I can't see the contour lines on opentopo maps for garmin even though they're selected (checked) from the Map Display settings. Anyone having the same problem?

Is your detail level set high enough?

I'm not sure what "opentopo maps" are, but I checked my

- Topo Canada v2

- US Topo - West

and both work fine as long as I zoom in far enough.

The OTM Description states "contour lines as optional layer" - did you also download the optional contours IMG file for your area of interest?

Thanks for the info, it will help me a lot.

Just printed the documents to go through the examples and decided that I would reset all activities, and now it does not work at all now.

Al I get is “an error detected” and a circle, as though the programme is stuck in a loop and box at the bottom to send the error to Garmin, but the circle just keeps turning so I can’t even do that.

Something to do with cli.infrastructure exceptions!

If a reinstall doesn't fix it, it might be worth trying the last stable version of BaseCamp which was 4.6.2 - plenty of people are still using it (despite the nag screens to update!) - safe download from: https://www.gpsrchive.com/BaseCamp/index.htm
