Use of licensed maps

Hello

I recently bought and getting used to my new Fenix 6 pro. I transferred already some free custom maps with MapInstall to the watch and it seems to work.

Now my question: I have purchased already some licensed high resolution hiking maps, like AustrianMap, or Kompass Hiking maps, that I´m using on another App on my Smartphone for Navigation.

How can this maps be used and transferred to the Watch?

Can anyone give me Informations about this or have experience in that case?

Would help me a lot, thanks!

Licensed by who? If Garmin maps they are locked to the device so you can't transfer them.

The first website is really old. It doesn't seem to work with…

What do you mean? I installed already some freeware maps, why shouldnt they work? I purchased them ..

What company did you buy the maps from?

The licence terms and features are determined by who you bought them maps from.

It's not even known if the maps are compatible with Garmins.

You haven't provided enough information.

I´ve provided all informations: Its AustrianMap and Kompass-Wanderkarten.

The first website is really old. It doesn't seem to work with the browser I'm using. It doesn't seem to provide maps that are compatible with the Garmins.

The second website doesn't appear to provide maps that can be downloaded to Garmins.

If you have an issue with the products produced by these companies, you need to talk to these companies.

The maps used by the Garmin devices have to be in a particular format. You can't use any map.
