I am working on creating a 14 day trip in BaseCamp 4.7.2.0 on Windows and decided to do it with Trip Planner as a way of estimating a daily destination point based on the hours per day setting. I didn't like that a hub was automatically created after day 3 so started again with a trip length of 1 day and then added days from there. After creating 8 days, the Trip is extremely slow to load, so I'll be creating a new Trip for the remaining 6 days which will be the return part of the trip. I started researching Trip Planner on this forum and discovered that many of you don't use it so I'm thinking it was a mistake but I'm this far so let me ask this. How will these Trips export to my Zumo XT? Will each day be a separate trip in the Zumo requiring that the name of each daily trip be identifiable to the trip and day?
Also, I'm having to work in BaseCamp using the map on the connected Zumo due to the issue with being unable to get the latest map into BaseCamp due to the issue with Garmin Express. Would this explain the painfully slow loading of a trip created with Trip Planner?
