sent preferred basecamp route to my RV780 but it still shows quickest route.

I have a route set up that I have driven and want to drive again. I loaded it on the Garmin RV780 but my route is over ridden by the fastest route.

How do I get my route to work?

How did you try to navigate it on your RV780? When you choose the route you need to select the first point in the route. The mistake many make is to select the last point.

I loaded the entire route so how do I select the first point? I don't see an option for that.

Under Apps select trips, select the trip you want, when you press go you will see the option to select the start or finish and any other viapoints you may have on the route. Whichever one you select your device will work out its own route to that point then follow your route from there. So if you want to follow the entire route select the first point. If you read the manual it's explained there.
