The GARMİN 64 SX device does not see Waypoints in Mapsource.

While working with the current 60 CSx model we use, we can take route points without any problem in mapsource and make the necessary measurements.

However, we bought a 64SX model GPS to renew our devices. But when we transmit mapsource with this GPS, we can only receive traces. Waypoints not found, gives an error / no waypoints. Since we cannot get waypoints, we cannot do anything with this device. We would like to try all kinds of methods before we return.

It led us to use Base Camp when we called for technical service. This program is not quite complicated and useful to us.

I don't fully understand your post sorry but as it's been a few days I'll reply that for the newer Garmin units you'll need to use BaseCamp. Yes, it is difficult to use after MapSource. However there's now a lot of on-line help (for example https://www.gpsrchive.com/BaseCamp/index.htm)

There will be non-Garmin map programmes that can work with the GPS you have, it's just a matter of finding one to suit your language and map requirements.
