Where do I download Maps from GPS to Basecamp?

Hello All,

Where is the feature to download maps from GPS to Basecamp?

In the past I've downloaded my current GPS map to basecamp so it works faster. However, I can't find where to do it now after updating my GPS map. Since I'm using the older faster map in Basecamp, it recalculates routes each time I transfer to my GPS.

I've looked everywhere and can't find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Which map? If a Garmin one you should be able to use Express.

From a Zumo 396. I don't see the map download option in Garmin Express. I could swear it was in Basecamp somewhere. I am able to use it off the GPS, but its super slow via USB, I'm looking to download the map so Basecamp can access it from the hard drive

BaseCamp can't copy maps from your device, so that's not where you've seen it. In Express it's under Map Options.
