BaseCamp Timestamps Vanished

My wife just complained that all of the .gpx files I sent her today had no timestamps. When I went to re-export the files she needed, I realized that every track in my BaseCamp database has the timestamps removed. All the tracks seem to be there, just missing timestamp, elevation and leg data. I checked out a similar post from a few months ago, but those steps didn't seem to work for me.

While debugging I reimported some tracks I exported just last week and lots more data showed up:

I did a quick BaseCamp uninstall/reinstall and tried switching to a different copy of the database, but nothing has worked so far. I have plenty of backups of my database files, so I'm not super worried about data loss, but I'm sorta out of ideas for debugging. Any advice?

I did a little more debugging, but unfortunately I'm still getting the same result.

Some steps I've taken so far:

Reset basecamp settings
Changed the database location a few times
Loaded several backup AllData files from times when I wasn't encountering the issue
Downgraded to 4.7.2

When I reimported some of my old full database GPX exports, the time, elevation, speed data comes up just fine. Unfortunately, I stopped regularly doing full library GPX exports when Garmin Cloud went away... I have plenty of backups of the database files from the last few years, but I'm running out of ideas for recovering data from them.

I suppose my next step is to start rebuilding from scratch, hoping that I don't lose access to the other fields again and see where that leaves me?

I haven't seen this behaviour before but can sympathise with your frustration. If you are going to revert to an earlier version, I would suggest you go back to BaseCamp 4.6.2 which was the last stable version. See https://www.gpsrchive.com/BaseCamp/index.htm This has useful information on data management and it would be worth cross-posting you issue in the site forum. GPSrchive who runs the site is a mine of information.

You will get nag screens in 4.6.2 to upgrade to 4.7, but this will be a small price to pay if you get your data back.

Have you done a Backup and Restore lately. Windows may also be suffering from this SEVERE data loss issue using Backup/Restore that Garmin has acknowledged on Mac but have refused to fix. Read the thread and you will see this has been an issue for YEARS. It seems like Garmin would quickly fix a data loss issue but apparently they don't care!!!

I backed up and restored BaseCamp uneventfully a few weeks ago as part of updating 4.7.3 from 4.6.2.
