Transferring files

I am new to Basecamp. When I transfer data from my Garmin etrex 20x to my computer, will it move the files or copy them to my computer? (and the same for transferring them back from my computer). Thanks in advance, Debbie

You copy data from one to the other. Files aren't moved.
