Create Route from Selected Track?

Question

I created a route using "Create Route from Selected Track" of a small track. The resulting route is a straight line from the start to the finish. 
 Shouldn't the route follow the track: What am I doing wrong?

Which map is selected in BaseCamp? Check the activity profile of the route in route properties, which routing activity is selected? If the map isn't routeable or if direct activity is selected you'll get a straight line.
