Transfer Basecamp Data

Last time I checked a couple of years ago, there was no easy way to transfer a BaseCamp data file from a Windows computer to a new Windows computer.  Is that still true?  I hope not.
Please not that I am not asking about bulk transfer of all waypoints, tracks, routes, etc. in one jumbled mess.  I already know how to use Basecamp to create a hopeless mess.  I'm asking if there is a simple way to transfer the database with the list and folder structure intact.
I'd like to know about a new way, even if it is a little complicated if it is easier than using Windows Remote Desktop to transfer data a list at a time.
Thanks.
  • I have done this multiple times. I use the BaseCamp Backup function from one computer, placing the backup file in a common network location or USB drive. Then install BaseCamp on the new computer and use the restore function to place the same data on the new computer. It's not a jumbled mess. All the folders, lists and all are just the way I had it on the original PC.
