12 Months ago my wife treated me to a lovely update to my amazing Nuvi 2597. The DriveSmart 65 MT-S is a fabulous update!
However, the weather radar app functionality doesn't work in New Zealand. The Garmin Drive app provides the radar service to the DS65, however, the app sources weather radar from the neighboring country Australia. Understandably, Australia being a totally different country some 1300 Miles across the Tasman Sea obviously doesn't provide weather services for New Zealand.
New Zealand naturally has it's own weather service including weather radar. But the Garmin Drive app sources weather radar information not from NZ but Australia. That is no good.
For 7 months I have been battling with Garmin Australia (who look after the NZ market) to first acknowledge the issue as a fault. They then in June this year, said they would escalate the issue to another technical team. I have not heard back yet & the fault hasn't been fixed through subsequent software updates.
My question is, what Garmin technical team is there in the world that can take this issue on & sort it out ? Who do I contact ?
