Simpler device

I was hoping to get a simpler GPS from Garmin than my current GPSMAP 62S. I don't go out with it every weekend so it seems I have to relearn it every time I use it. Is there a GPS Garmin puts out that is not as complicated? I hike and geocache. I was looking a a Garmin eTrex 22x but based on the manual I may not be any better off. I don't need a camera or to know where the closest coffee shop is. My phone willl take care of that for me. Thanks.

Thanks. The more I think about it the more that makes sense. I downloaded the GAIA GPS earlier today. Will try it out on a trail tomorrow to get a feel for it.

I like Guru Maps. It's easy to use but has good features.

It doesn't have contour lines (I'm going to bug the developer about that).
