Garmin Basecamp 4.7.2 Crashes

I have installed and uninstalled, then reinstalled Garmin Basecamp 4 times on each of two different laptops with Windows 10 installed. Every time I launched the application it crashed and "error reports" popped up which I forwarded to Garmin. I have cleared the cashe in both laptops each time and this didn't fix the problem. Calls to Garmin Tech support were of no help. The problem is with their updated software (Version 4.7.2) and not either of my laptops. Hopefully Garmin reads their forum from time to time to see the problems with their products.

As others are running 4.7.2 I suspect the issue is with your laptops, you say calls to tech support were no help, what did they say? Have you tried rolling back to an earlier version to see if that helps?

Sometimes, starting an application using "Run as Administrator" will make things work. Worth at try. . .
And let us know if it works.

I experience random crashes with 4.7.2, some are easy to reproduce. When I connect my forerunner 920XT via USB, select it and CREATE NEW WAYPOINT within it.

Basecamp crashes to desktop.

EVERY SINGLE TIME.

I am no longer able to add new waypoints for nav purposes this way on my watch.
