Waypoints not showing up on Basecamp from Edge 520 plus GPX track download

So using Basecamp for recording and designing new trails. I also have started to use Waypoints on the 520 Plus. I use Garmin Connect to review the ride and transfer the gpx file to my computer to view on Basecamp. But can't seem to figure out why no waypoints?

No idea but you should be able to copy them directly from your Edge

These are waypoints that you are creating on the 520+?

If so, these are not saved to the activity file. They get saved to "locations.fit" (in another folder).

I was thinking it was separate from the routes saved. I will look again for another file to saved to my files but any hints to where to find?

As I said, the waypoints created on the device are in the file called "locations.fit". In another folder (not activities).

So by connecting the 520 to computer USB port you can look at all the files on the device. Locations folder has the locations.fit file and the waypoints are in there. Downloaded to Basecamp and now the waypoints are saved
