Way points

I have a problem transferring way points to GPS (nuvi 56). The basecamp says they were transfered but I cannot find them on GPS. Any help is appreciated.

If you've simply transferred waypoints they should appear in your favourites/saved places.

Thanks, but I am just transferring waypoints. I have done this for years. Could my USB cable be the issue?

I wouldn't have thought so otherwise BC wouldn't see your device. Look in the GPX folder. Is there a file named temp.gpx there? If so and the date/time stamp correspond to when you transferred the waypoints then BC has transferred them. If the file is there is it possible you have too many waypoints already on your 56, the maximum on that device is 1000

I did delete some older waypoints and when doing so I saw the one I was trying transfer. I don't know why I doesn't show up in "all saved". Very strange. FT
